PyFunceble: To many sleeping connections
To move the issue from KeyBase to a closed issue (Security as open connection easily can get hacked)
Starting here: keybase://chat/funilrys,spirillen/964
yeah, and all the sleepers just killed my server by binding 2GB in memory simply had to restart mariadb
My question is: Is it better now that I don't use the pooling mechanism?
I also released it to the master branch
good question, but if it is the pooloing that keeps the connection open, and you can't get it closed, then yes
any sql queries should always be threaded as JIT
97 rows in set (0.001 sec)
79 rows in set (0.001 sec)
Each connection reserves about 620MB of RAM
another thing that I should try is to lower the connection keel alive from 28800 seconds, so when #pyfunceble_-_mariadb crashes it ain't keeping a dead connection open (which should be there Unless a queries is in progress)....
But the DNS-testers didn't crach whhile Pyf was running.... it was after, while restarting and tried to download the
requirement.txtwhich it couldn't get as the DB was stoked on open sleeping connection, and thereby also used all the memory on the VPS...
